Be (for Pajama Girl)

one of the most difficult lessons

I’ve had to learn is that there is

a clear difference between what is,

what could, should or what might be--

except when it comes to you.

you are not only what is, should, could

and might be, but also what

will be.

and though I know what will be is what is,

the most difficult lesson has now

become accepting the fact that because of

you, all these things can be.
